Outcomes:

  • 1 study with all the locations of all the non-powered dams at national level
  • 1 study regarding the approx. 100 locations with potential for retrofitting
  • 1 report and a database describing the potential sites that can be used for retrofitting dams with -hydropower facilities
  • 1 study for 10 chosen locations with potential, that deserve to be retrofitted with priority
  • 1 advanced documentation (Documentation for approving the intervention works)
  • 1 Study report: Hydrological data analysis, environmental impacts, mitigation & hydropower potential evaluation
  • 1 Study report: Solutions for individual equipping of each selected site with hydraulic turbine/pump and/or mechanical components, presenting their advantages and disadvantages in terms of technical performances.
  • A Technical Pilot Project - a design for a future hydroenergetic arrangement
  • Two articles with IPR protection: publication in international research journals
